3 Crosses

Jesus was executed by crucifixion with two men who were criminals. In the words and attitudes of these three men we see one who rejected Christ to the very end. One man repented of his evil and sinful life, believed that Jesus was a King and had the power to forgive. Jesus was the innocent, sinless man who died because he was “the king of the Jews” as the inscription declared that was written above His head. He is the redeemer who took our place of death, judgement and penalty so that we can have life, hope, freedom, reconciliation and a home in the heavenly kingdom.
