A Place for You ...

The Royal Oak church is a family of Christians whose ambition is to have an authentic and intimate love for God and His children. We express our devotion and faithfulness by following God's Word, being united and loyal to one another, serving our neighbors, and teaching others about the good news of Jesus. We would be honored to have you join us for worship this Sunday morning.

Metro Detroit Bible Lectureship

We are hosting the annual Metro Detroit Bible Lectureship on April 15-17. The theme is "Rising Above" which will bring hope and healing to those who are struggling with depression, sadness, fear, anxiety, and addiction. God gives us strength and courage to rise above even the most difficult challenges. Singing begins at 6:30 and the lesson at 7:00. There will be a youth class for middle school and high school students. There will also be a V.B.S. style class for children 4 years old through 5th grade.  - CLICK HERE -  for more details.

Talent Show

Members are invited to get their act together and sign up for our annual Talent Show on Saturday, February 16th beginning at 6pm in the auditorium.

Harmony Song Tool

We have a new musical tool that will help us learn and practice new songs and/or to be better tuned with familiar hymns. This program includes the words (sheet music for vocals), and audio in 4 part harmony and the individual parts (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) so you can listen, learn and sing along. It is free and easy to use.

Click here or go to:  https://dsh.org/harmony

While this program uses digital music (keyboard) so that the music can be precise, we will continue to only sing acappella (without the instrument) in worship and church gatherings.

Men (e)at Work

Some of our men meet together each month for breakfast at Leo's Country Oven Restaurant (28611 John R Road, just south of 12 Mile) at 8am and then we gather at the church building at 9am do complete some basic jobs that need to be done. Our next event is on Friday, March 15th.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”(Daily Reading, ESV)
