Restoring Love

If we want to be intimate and passionate about God, we must deal quickly and completely with our sin. After King David committed adultery, he concieved plans to cover it up, but things only got worse to the point of murder. For a year he was distant with God, alienated from his friends, burdened down with guilt and suffered from depression to the point of physical pain. When he turned to the Lord he found forgiveness, restored joy and a willing spirit to be close to the Lord, free from his burden and a desire to share the good news of God's grace with others.
