Our faith is based on evidence and can be confirmed by a multitude of witnesses who have experienced the reliability, trustworthiness and faithfulness of the Lord. Our faith is not a one time event, but it is a daily, living and consistent confidence in the promises and character of God. We exercise our faith in people regularly because of their past performance. The surgeon in the operating room and the pilot of an airplane, the mechanic changing our break system are people we do not know, but we put our life in their hands. Hebrews 11 is a listing of witnesses on the stand who give testimony and statements of how God has worked in and through their life through every season of their journey.
