We are given the perfect example of humility in the emptying of self, true service and ultimate sacrifice of Jesus. He gave up the glory, comfort and position in heaven to become a human, a slave, dependent, vulnerable, rejected, persecuted, falsely accused and humiliated before being executed by crucifixion. Paul urges to consider Christ and become humble, servants and willing to sacrifice ourselves for others in the name of Jesus for the glory of the Father.
