Three Trees

The tree of life was in the Garden of Eden which gave eternal life to all who ate of its fruit. Because of sin, Adam and Eve were expelled from paradise and lived with the consequence of their sin – death. In heaven there is a tree in the middle of the city that gives life and healing to all who live there. It is also called the tree of life. There is one more tree of significance that was used to crucify Jesus, God in the flesh, a ransom and atoning sacrifice for our sin. His death on the tree is the only offering that could allow those who seek God to live in the heavenly Jerusalem with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit forever.
