Sheepish

Many leaders in the Old Testament learned many lessons by caring for sheep. David, who eventually became king over Israel, was a shepard while his older brothers served in the army of King Saul. He wrote the 23rd Psalm describing the tender care, guidance, protection and covenant of his heavenly Father. We realize that this Psalm was fulfilled in Jesus, who is the good shepherd who takes care of and leads his sheep in John 10.
