Every Christian is a temple where God lives. The Holy Spirit was promised to those who called on Jesus, trusted in His grace, repented from their sins and were baptized by the authority of the Lord (Acts 2). The Holy Spirit has given us the plan and will of God that we would know how we should live to honor, glorify and praise Him. The Holy Spirit also lives within us to gives us wisdom and guidance in our daily lives (James 1) and He strengthens us with power so we can follow Him (Ephesians 3 and Galatians 5).
