When we watch the same movie multiple times, we can quickly get unresponsive, complacient, even bored. You are so familiar that it becomes predictable, unexciting and common. This has happened time after time in the chapters of the Bible and in the pages of our lives. The awesome love of God, the incredible great power, the wonderful salvation is something we can read and talk about and it does not stir us, move us or change us.
