Growing Cold

Jesus said that the love of some people will grow cold, mostly because of the increase of evil, wickedness and ungodliness. Others may be slowly influenced and seduced by the things of this world and loose their love for the Lord. Paul told Timothy to "fan into flame the gift of God" and to keep the fire going inside.  Some may only have embers left, but the Lord will not snuff out a smoldering wick.  Instead He will be patient, gentle and restore the flame to those who desire to rekindle what was lost.
