When we have a deep relationship with God that we can experience the joy of salvation, we will want to tell others about the goodness and grace of God. King David had a heart for God, but he also had great sins that were forgiven.  He then was motivated and eager to tell others of the salvation, not only what he knew but also what he had experienced.  Psalm 51 - restore the joy of my salvation, then I will teach transgressors Your ways and sinners will return to You.
