Other Side
Often we want to define our neighbor to those who are most like us, those we agree with and those who can do something for us. Jesus taught that if we are to love the way God loves, the question is not who is my neighbor but who can I be a neighbor to. The question is about our heart and attitude, not on who someone else is. The neighbor is the one who had compassion on another person and was willing to act accordingly, even if that included danger, inconvenience, time, money and reputation. Let us love one another, even as God has loved us.
