God loved Israel even when they rejected and turned their back on Him. While His people would return to His house regularly to worship, their heart and devotion was with other gods. Hosea was a prophet who illustrated God’s sorrow and pain and also expressed His desire for reconciliation and a new beginning. We learn a lot of God’s unrelenting love and our sinful condition through the live and lessons of Hosea and Gomer.
