Both Moses and God spoke words of encouragement to Joshua as he was beginning the work of leading the people into the promised land. Today we need people in our lives that can encourage, strengthen, and speak words of life and hope that will help us along the way. We are all called to be encouraging Christians who encourage other Christians to love and good deeds (Hebrews 1o:24-25). Our elders have chosen the theme of "encourage one another" for our congregation in 2019.
