Jesus is called the Prince of Peace and His coming was the promise of peace. However, there was no peace at His birth because babies were being killed because of Herod. There was little peace during His ministry because opposition and persecution were increasing and Jesus taught that there would be trouble, division and death to some of the disciples. There was no peace in the first century church as they had internal strife and outward opposition. Where is the peace?
