David realized that God is all he needs and that the Lord will provide everything for the sheep. Psalm 23:1 is the main topic of the chapter and the following verses explains how the Lord will make provision in all areas of the sheep's life. When we put our full trust, hope and dependance on the loving Shepherd, we will live in peace, confidence, saftey and freedom.
