In the Old Covenant, God's presence was represented in the Tabernacle, inside the Holy of Holies where the Ark of the Covenant was located. Only once per year the High Priest would go and meet with God and sprinkle blood on the golden Mercy Seat. No person could look into the Ark or even touch it, or they would die. We will look at several events surrounding this awesome and awful gold covered box that was a symbol of God with His people.
