Recalling Love

King David knew God personally, intimately and passionately. He devoted a lot of time to remembering what God had done in the past, both historically through Abraham, Joshua, and Samuel. He was also reminded of how God had and continued to work in His life to deliver, strengthen, lead and bless. His live was not always easy, but God was always in the center of his heart and mind.  If we want to develop a closer, deeper relationship with the Lord we must be aware of His great love, patience and grace toward us.  We love because He first loved us.
