Paul and Silas were tortured before being put into prison. Their response was to sing and pray to the Lord. At midnight God caused an earthquake, jail cells opened and chains fell off. They were free. Not free to leave just yet, but free to save a man's life and his soul. Look again at the outrageous response of the jailer who turned to the Lord for salvation.
