We are running the race, but we are on a team of fellow atheletes who are also committed to winning the prize. The Hebrew writer encourages us to run behing our leader, Jesus Christ (chapter 12) and we are also admonished to help each other succeed in the faith so we can all make it to the end.  The church is the family and the body of our Lord where we work in unity and love as we press on to the finish line.  Don't give up. Encouage others and be encouraged in the name of Jesus.
