Small Victory

Gideon has called the troups to arms and they have gathered together at the spring of Harod (which in Hebrew means fear and trembling). Gideon's army began at 32,000 men. Those who were fearful were told they could go home, leaving only 10,ooo men. After the drinking test only 300 remained to join the fight. This is a small number going against Midians 135,000 trained and equiped troups. But God has promised the victory, even to the end where not one of Gideon's soldiers were killed, injured or harmed during the battle. We, too, can have victory when we trust God completely, follow His plan faithfully and honor the name of the Lord humbly.
