God's Will

God showed Gideon many signs that what God had promised would soon become reality.  Gideon had a difficult time following the word of God so that he could be in the will of God.  While he did take a stand against his father's idols, he wasn't sure about leading the people into battle. God was patient and gracious, giving Gideon the assurance that he was looking for.  Gideon overcame his fear and led his people into victory.
