In Gideon's weakest moments, as he is threshing grain in the wine press, God calls him to leadership. Gideon sees himself where he is, while God sees who Gideon can become if he will trust in the Lord.  Gideon wonders where the God of wonders has been over the past few years.  He has heard the Bible stories of Noah, Moses, Joshua. But now God has deserted His people. God will soon show that it is the people who have deserted Jehovah God.  Judges 6
