Elisha was a prophet who saw the spiritual reality of God's power and victory over his enemies. Elisha prayed that his servant's eyes would be open to see the army of the Lord who could save them from the great Syrian army. Elisha showed grace and mercy to the enemy by providing an extravagant banquet for them before sending them home unharmed.
